NURS 110

This course introduces the student to a theoretical foundation for professional nursing practice. The course focuses on nursing as a caring profession, nurse's roles and functions, ethics, standards, legal aspects, healthcare delivery, communication, teaching/learning, critical thinking, and the nursing process. The Essentials of Baccalaureate Education are introduced and the philosophy of the WCU nursing program.
