Make-Up Instruction and Work
This course follows the University’s standards for missed instruction and coursework. Make-up activities are designed for continued academic rigor and do not replace or create attendance. For didactic/lab/simulation/clinical meetings missed due to student-initiated absences, or planned closures, unplanned disruptions, or faculty-initiated cancellations, faculty may assign equivalent work and/or schedule approved make-up time (clinical/experiential) so that students meet course/program learning outcomes. Except where stated otherwise, make-up work/time should be completed within seven (7) days, when feasible. Schedule changes for discretionary reasons are not permitted. Any adjustments or exceptions to this policy require administrative approval and must be communicated to the student in a timely manner.
